How the celebrity lookalike finder works

Choose one photo, compare facial features, and receive five ranked celebrity matches.

  1. Pick your best close-up

Use a well-lit, front-facing photo of just you. Skip sunglasses, heavy filters, and group shots.

  2. Meet your familiar faces

Our face model compares visual features against a curated, licensed celebrity library and finds five close matches.

  3. Let your friends decide

Save a photo card with your closest celebrity match. Share it yourself and see who agrees.

What is a celebrity lookalike?

A celebrity lookalike is someone who resembles a well-known public figure. Our free finder detects and aligns one face in your photo, converts it into a numerical representation, and compares it with the current licensed reference library. It returns five different people, using one combined feature representation per person when multiple reference photos are available. The ranking does not explain which specific facial feature caused a match.

The match score is cosine similarity multiplied by 100, not a calibrated probability or a percentage of how much you look like someone. Results depend on our current library: the closest available portrait can still be a weak match. Head pose, lighting, expression, blur, and image size can change the results. Try a clear, front-facing photo and treat the comparison as entertainment. The tool does not measure attractiveness or estimate age, gender, or ethnicity.

How does the celebrity lookalike finder work?

It detects a face, aligns its features, and compares a numerical representation with the faces in our celebrity library. The five nearest matches appear first. Lighting, expression, angle, and the library’s coverage affect the result.

Are my photos saved or used to train AI?

No. A compressed photo is sent to our website and private comparison service. The photo, decoded pixels, and temporary facial features are processed in memory; we do not write them to a database, file storage, or request logs. They are released after the request. Your selected photo stays in your browser until you remove it or close the page.

Is this free? Do I need an account?

The pilot is free and does not require an account. To keep it available, comparisons are limited to one request every 10 seconds and up to 30 attempts per network per UTC day. Paid reports and subscriptions are not enabled in this version.

What does the match score mean?

It is the face model’s cosine similarity multiplied by 100. It is not a calibrated probability or a claim that you look a certain percentage like someone. The closest result is relative to our current library, so a small library can return a weak match.

Why didn’t my photo work?

Use one clear, front-facing face with even light. Photos with several people, very small faces, sunglasses, unusual angles, or unsupported formats may fail. Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP under 8 MB; your browser compresses it before sending.
